Shockey to Saints

Adam Schefter of the NFL Network is reporting that Jeremy Shockey is being traded to the New Orleans Saints. The Saints will give up a 2nd and 5th round pick in the 2009 Draft to get the Pro Bowl tight end from the New York Giants.

This makes a strong Saints offense even stronger. With the emergence of Aaron Strecher and the continuing maturation of Reggie Bush this team has many fantasy weapons.

Shockey will fit in with a already robust receiving corps and give Drew Brees a variety of targets. Now it is time for the Front office to work on the D. Hopefully the change of scenery can also do something for the questionable attitude of Shockey.
