06.10.08: Bears release Cedric Benson for off-field issues after three disappointing seasons.
Door Opens for: Matt Forte, RB from Tulane 2nd round 2008 or Adrian Peterson (2002, 6th rounder from Georgia Southern) who last year gained 930 all purpose yards (151 rushes, 51 receptions) 510 coming on the ground amd 3 TD’s
Early synopsis: Peterson has the edge, but look for the Bears to go shopping.
06.09.08 Marshawn Lynch missed his second voluntary practice as a result of Lasik surgery. This comes after questions about his involvement in a Hit and Run crash on May 31. the bills are concered about his recent actions. Handcuff Fred jackson filled in admirably for Lynch last year (58,300,5.2). All should clear up by season start, but draft Lynch with caution.
07.03.08: Fox Sports reports that Matt Forte will likely be the Bears starting RB when camp opens. Fantasy owners should consider him as an RB2 or a Bench option in their drafts. He may be a Bargain for Dynasty League players
